Mr. Mahmoud Alavi Intelligence Minister of Islamic Republic of Iran
Judiciary spokesman of Islamic Republic of Iran, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, disavowed any Imprisonment of someone named "Arash Sadeghi" in the fifty-first news conference on 9th September 2013. However there are some documents claiming that Arash Sadeghi was prisoned in Evin. We can mention his previous Lawyer’s statements, Mr. Seyed Mahmoud Alizade Tabatabaee. On 25th June 2013 Mr. Tabatabaee told international human rights campaign “performing scrutiny, I ensured that he is alive and the rumor regarding his death in prison is not true.”
Mr. Tabatabaee reconsidered Arash’s case regarding Arash’s father request. He stated at the same date that “following up Arash’s case, I think that indictment will be issued for Arash’s new file(case) and will be sent to the court soon.”
On 27th June 2013, three of Europe Parliamentary officials (Barbara Lochbihler, Chair of the Subcommittee for Human Rights in the European Parliament. Isabelle Durant, Vic President of the European parliament. Tarja Cronberg, Chair of the EU Iran Delegation in the European parliament ) wrote a letter to Iranian Ambassador in Belgium, asking about his case and demanding his freedom. But no response was received from Iranian officials yet.
Therefore, based on Tabatabaee and Mohseni’s statements, we signatories of this petition demand performing investigation and ask public opinion in Iran and human rights activists and followers In all over the world that “where is Arash Sadeghi?”
Let’s save them.
Does Arash Sadeghi have same destination as Saeed Zeynali that has been missing for 14 years?
Please help him and sign the petition.
We as human rights activists, in “save them” campaign want to know “where is Arash Sadeghi?”
